Coraline algae

What's the best and easiest way to remove coraline algae. I been trying the scraper but it's so darn encrusted. It's all over my back and side glass. It's so annoying!!!!!!!!

I have good results with a razor blade from Home Depot but if you've got acrylic I wouldn't try that.

Ok I will try I know it's a signs of a mature tank but it's worst then hair algae

You're going to need a scrapper, blade scrapper for glass plastic scrapper for acrylic.

I like fresh razor blades.. If you have acrylic I heard plain magic erasers work well..

Yes. I got a back sea urchin that came as a freebie when I got a coral that eats the algae. Unfortunately I don't know what type it is.

+1 a decent amount of urchins will eat it but I wouldn't put one in for that purpose. I know for sure I had a zebra urchin eating it that also grazed on my montiporas also,encrusting and branching didn't matter.I know some others said it but a fresh new razor blade in hand will definitely do it.
