ID plz.

Found this hitchhicker. Need an ID. Can't tell if its an anemone or some wierd mushroom i've never seen. My moneys on Anemone but just to be sure.

yeah just gave it a little food. def an anemone. Just hope its not a majano but the coloration and tentacles are off.

T, looks like a mojano - tough to tell though cause the size has nothing to mark it against' How large is it? Other more colorful rock anemones are about the size of a nickel - mojanos are about 1/3 the size of a dime (at least mine are)

I'm guessing its a rock anemone from all the pics and stuff i just looked at. Not bubbly tips so i'm guessing its not a majano but it just went into my tank so we'll see by tommorrow and if it opens up more/bubbles up.

Its about an inch-inch and 1/4 big. Its a nice size and the color is nice and bright. Not hurting anything so gonna keep it for now.

Oh and Jim. I had a majano that was 1 1/2 inches as a hitchiker off of a rock of yellow polyps once. He's long and gone after he tested my patience by destroying a colony of zoa's.

Sea Life florida sells those as rock anemones. They say they are harmless.
