We were surveying a new area of reef, and we came upon this coral I have never seen before. Does anyone know the species? The skeletal structure appears to be the same as a Euphyllia ancora, but the polyps look more like a bubble coral (Plerogyra), except smaller. Right next to it in the second photo, you can see a euphyllia ancora. Thanks!
