So I'm really confused with all the information on the web. I got what was labled as peppermint shrimp but it dances (sways side to side) and I read that dancing shrimp is not the same as peppermint shrimp. I couldn't take a picture the sucker hides all the time. All I know is that it sways side to side. Is there anything else that can tell me for sure what kind of shrimp it is?

Depends what you considered dancing

Most shrimp I've seen sway at some point or another, but Sexy Shrimp are known for their pronounced tail gyrations :flirt:

it's a peppermint. I used to have lots in my tank, but had to sell them off because of my gigantic coral banded. I inspected everything before handing out, your in the clear.
