i just took this pic a few moments ago. for the past 3 days i noticed a bright purple dot on my female clown. litterly the color of coraline algae. its not growing, but it has not fallen off yet. what could it be. disease or just debree stuck on him?

sorry for the pics, i tried the best i can but he is so quick

These marks are fairly common on clowns. Frequently they can be a burn from a coral that has extended it's feeder tentacles. They fade in time and cause no lasting harm to the fish.

Do let us know if anything changes though in a negative manner!

The only problem with that Kathy is that my clown was in a tank with no corals or any other inverts to mention. For about 3 weeks before it got it. It was the only thing in the tank. Usually the marks from coral stings are black also.
