Okay, I rarely buy fish from the lfs, but was in Pets Plus for Dog food, looked at their very limited saltwater fish inventory, and saw a very small about 1" black angel, marked "Midnight Dwarf Angel for $44.95, and a 50% off sale, for $22.50. The fish actually looked like a baby personifer angel, I actually began to shake, it is pitch black, with a bright yellow tail, and a thin white stripe going vertically down the entire front of the face, and a white stripe going vertically down the side of the body where a personifer has it. Depending on lighting, sometimes looks white, sometime light yellow. Put it in my 30 gallon reef with two black clowns and 5 green chromis, and cleaner shrimp, the larger clown chases it, was afraid to put it in my 155, thought it may get beat up, being so small. Very frisky fish, in and out of small caves in rock, etc. Will try to get a shot, very fast fish, personifer, or is there some type of dwarf angel with that coloring, as I have not seen one, will post a photo when I can get one.

Albano, hoping so, about 99% sure it is, wish it was alone though, I see him picking alot, even if he eats corals, needless to say, i don't care, will try to get a better shot over the weekend, yes that Bariene, should live a long time, great personality, has he grown, since you got him from me?

Yes, great video, looking forward to new shots and video, and new entries lately?
Any idols, I have a very large fat one, thriving, got it from another reefer, a year or so ago, eats everything.

Okay, got good shots, when the clowns were sleeping he came out, looks like the clown nailed his tail, hope he makes it, i.d.? Personifer or blueline? This is a very small angel, tempted to move to 155, any thoughts?

That looks like a Blueline, That is exactly what they look like before they get their stripes. I have only seen 2 that small before, One I owned the other in an LFS. Good luck with it, either way in 3-6 months you will know what it is. A blueline will start to get the lines very quickly.

Advice, keep in 30 gal., or move to 155, only concern are two four striped damsels in there full grown, yellow tails, and not too agressive, think the rest of the fish will ignore it because of its sized, as I had put a very small queen and achilless tang in there a few months ago, everyone ignored them. The tang was very small.

I would keep it in the 30 for now, get it fattened up a little and then move it, The other fish should ignore it. It should be ok in the larger tank even when small, but since you just got him I would leave it in the 30 and get it healthier before the move. Good luck and a nice find. Anymore of them there at the LFS? I would love to get another one.

I'm reallt thinking it is defintely a Blue Line all of the Personifer pics I found of Juvi's had yellow fins on the bottom. The front 2 fins on the bottom that is.

Don't know why those came out so small. I would defintely leave it in the 30 until you know what it is, Bluelines are ok in Reefs sometimes but if it is a Puma, or personifers who knows what it will do to the tank. I resized the pics.
