We can't do business with Royal, so it'll have to be someone else.

Both Preuss Pets in Lansing and a new little shop in SW Michigan here order them direct from JBJ.. (Just got my first one last weekend..)

Royal doesn't carry them anyway - I hadn't seen them on their list but after reading this thead I checked.

Wow - Billy didn't want to do business with your shop? Must have been bad!!!

If anybody knows a distributor of that cube in the SE, I'm intrested too.

I've seen them at Sun Pet, but I think they are expensive on many dry goods compared to mainstream distributors.

Didn't see them on Central's list either... I'll try to check Southeast tomorrow.

Never heard of 'em.

I deal mainly with Royal, but have ties to Central and Southeast. I have an account with Summit but they are mainly dog and cat, their aquatics stuff is weak, and in my experience their customer service is somewhat less than satisfactory.

Still curious to hear -- I've seen those cubes as I said, at Sun Pet ($$$) and Fish Store & More carries them... I think a couple of others do too.

Anybody?

Local shop aquamains has been selling them all day out the door for $200 a piece. They ran a special the other day for $99...heh

Also... - FWIW, the rumor I got from both stores here in MI is that JBJ is sorta playing favorites in who its shipping to so it might be best to put in a big order. - As you probably know, they just updated the last version of the cube to a dual fan unit so hopefully it'll be a little while before the next revision comes out. (My bet is that its a 32w version over the current 24..)

This is just rumor though.. - The new store I'm referring to is REALLY.. - REALLY new.... (As in so new that I'm teaching this guy stuff every time I walk in... 8O )

I've doing some behind the scenes checking into this shocking story. 8O Seems like one of Royal's most dedicated delivery guys was molested by some pervert in a strange white jump suit, while making a delivery to the store in question. The driver tells the old man either they go or he goes. And now you know the rest of the story. :lol:
