can any one point us in the direction of some display price tags for retail fish (freshies and marine)

having just moved the shop into new premises, a fresh lookin labeling system might go down well .......any thing barcoded could be particularly useful

The marine set has 3-digit PLU codes for each specie. The freshwater set has alpha-numeric... I don't like that as much as the 2-digit ones... but they work well. No bar codes, my POS software can generate an in-house UPC code for anything I set up in the system, and generate a coded label for it. Personally I don't use the bar codes for the fish/inverts but I do like to be able to key a 3 digit PLU.

No worries

I like the marine set (I haven't bought the FW set yet...) because it also has colour codes with whether the fish is safe with small fishes and crustaceans, or safe with corals... makes selection a bit easier for customers too.

The FW set has a colour code on it too but I haven't checked it out yet to see what it's about. Probably has to do with aggression/community fish etc.

When I purchased the set from Animal Graphics I told them that I was going to make a scan for my use. They had no problem with that.

Before you all go and get your proverbial panties in a bunch, you shouldn't assume that I was in any way copying the Animal Graphics material. We all know what assuming does, it makes a you know what out of U and me...well in this case just the U.

I was offering to pass along my entire, and original, Animal Graphics material to Ian along with the scans that I made. Which is perfectly legal!

That's it, now I remember why I don't usually participate in these boards!

Well I'm sure if you re-read this post, you can see how it could have been construed as you offering up copies. You also didn't offer to send them free of charge... nor did you specify that you would send originals.
