I am almost afraid to post this. Havn't logged in for almost four years. Not sure if it is allowed. Yes, The Alternative Reef is my shop. We do not do livestock anymore just Plugs, Disks, Donuts and Frag Stations right now. Working on a few other things.
We only sell wholesale to licensed e-tailers and walk in pet stores. It is hard to find us for a reason. We have three distributers not including myself that make up the bulk of our sales and do our selling for us. The Filter Guys(retail also), Edens Gate Coral Co(retail also) and BD Aquaculture(retail also). I do sell wholesale as well but prefer to be more behind the scene where I can focus on production and working on new products. There is a rapid growing number of businesses and farmers that are using and selling our products. Marine Depot is one of our distributers customers as well. Why these three distributers? They were the first stores to give our products a chance. We believe in loyalty and decided to include them into our growth. Without those three stores we wouldn't have gotten off the ground.
Our goal is to make propagation and reefkeeping easier for everyone and to constantly work to improve what we do. Our motto is "There's Gotta Be a Better Way" The products we make provide an "Alternative" to what is out there.
