Reading through recent posts, I have noticed more emphasis put on the need to educate aquarium hobbyists. Since there has been a lot of reference to DFS and liveaquaria.com, I thought this was pretty interesting:

We've just received confirmation that Animal Planet will soon be airing our Faithful Friends TV Show. If you haven't had a chance to catch the program locally, you will be able to view it beginning April 13 at 9:00 a.m. (every Sunday) on Animal Planet.

We think you'll be impressed with the wealth of knowledge packed into a half hour program! There is an episode of the show which is solely devoted to the aquarium hobbyist. This episode features our Aquaculture Facility Director, Kevin Kohen, sharing his perspectives on the subject. For those of you with dogs, cats, small pets, or other species of pets, there are 12 great shows with tips on training, health, travel, as well as other topics.

If you get a chance, tune in and let us know what you think!

Matt,
That is a network figure. It may be more or less and is only an estimate based on potential viewership and does not include seven segments on IVillage " In the Loop ", National Geographic or 13 possible episodes on Animal Planet. This is what is "sold" to the commercial buyers.

Should you know more than me about T. V. syndication and networking for 4.2 million dollars, please enlighten all of us. Your experience may be greater than mine.

Like a said a month old news. Funny that there is a one time poster that just happens to post about this.

BTW it's not my intention to downplay the breakthrough this might have or not for the industry and of course your bussiness. I guess congratulations are in order.

Gman:

Sorry, I missed the earlier reference to Animal Planet. I just thought it was kinda cool as I have caught their commercials on tv once in a while, but a commerical is a lot different than a segment on Animal Planet. That announcement just seemed more "big league" and hopefully will help promote more awareness within the hobby as well as the industry.

Just my two cents. Sorry I didn't respond sooner - computer problems.
