julian, rob, anyone that can help

my feather duster left its tube yesterday. it is with me for 3 months and till that, it seemed very healthy. is there any chance it survives out of the tube?

It is very vulnerable outside of its tube. If nothing eats it then it will find a better location (hopefully) and build another tube.

This is not all that uncommon. If the worm finds itself in a spot that is not getting enough food it will abandon it's tube, find a better spot and build a new tube. Just keep a look out for him from time to time and I bet you will see him sooner or later. Hopefully before a fish finds him. Good reefing. :lol:
