My alkalinity right now tested at 13dkh. My other corals seem to be doing fine, except for my wall frog which has barely grown at all since I got it. Is it OK to put a clam in high alkalinity knowing that it will bring the alkalinity back down over time? If not, what can I do to lower it? Waiting is not a good option because nothing in my tank is significantly using any alk.
