I have a 48" long x 16" high x 24" deep tank and currently running 2 A360x. I'm thinking of upgrading to Kessil A500x but from what I read it's only recommended for a 36" x 36" area.

Trying to get my PAR in the upper portion of the tank to at least 400-450 and I love the Kessil shimmer. Given the recommended 36" x 36" footprint of the A500X, I'm concerned about significant light spillover.

Has anyone here installed 2 A500X fixtures on a 48" long tank?

Also considered having 3 x A360X fixtures, bit doesn't look like it will get me over 400 PAR.

Would appreciate other suggestions on configurations too.

instal the narrow reflector on your A360x your par will increase.
they have two get the 5X and you should be fine
I use kessil lights and I learned not to run them on the popular 80/20 most people run their lights.
I run my kessils at 100%
