Is this normal for a Duncan coral?

I know it isn't normal but maybe the community can help I have a Duncan that has 6 heads but 1 of the heads has 2 mouths it grew in like that in my tank. Any input would be useful. Maybe I'm doing something wrong

Looks like it's splitting, you'll have two heads soon enough.

In general I think they bud most of the time, but I don't believe they are incapable of splitting. Maybe some other members can jump in here but generally speaking the duncan looks happy IMO you don't have anything to worry about.

I agree. The Duncan looks happy and healthy. The Duncans I've kept usually bud when splitting , but it would worry me if I saw one splitting in 2 that way. I also wouldn't be too concerned if the Duncan stayed as a 2 mouth head. I've seen many different corals stay as 2 mouth polyps including zoas and shrooms. Why not a Duncan too?

sometimes they grow out of he top head which usually means its getting ready o grow wide (not up)

I have Duncans , same one in fact. And the same thing occurred in my tank. Mine have grown very well so honestly I would not worry.
