If this was true, (I have no experiences with torches), the question should be changed to;
Are Australian torches more delicate/ sensitive to temperature or water conditions compared to Indonesian torches?
With global warming, continuous surface temperatures of 80 or even 85+ not many corals can survive, the higher the temperature, the less likely they make it. Any deeper water species, would be much less tolerant and the max temperature would probably be in the 70 to 75 range.
