  1. ich infestation PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I usually dip the fish in fresh water (actually 40% salt water/60% fresh water) half an hour a day and I isolate them in the sump for a week or so. Period. Usually does the trick. The darkness in the sump probably reduces stress. Right now I have 2 zebrasomas (1 flavescens, 1 desjardini) in...
  2. Centropyge Bicolor

    Does he touch anything?
  3. Centropyge Bicolor

I have a BEAUTIFUL Centropyge Bicolor. Not only is he beautiful, but he also is very well adapted to my tank. He is hand fed every day and I can even pat him... I love this fish. But, as all the things that are good, has the catch that he is not entirely reef safe. Does anyone have any...
  4. Cypraea Tigris

What is the best way to feed this guy?
  5. Can anybody identify this damsel?

No. It's still algae... I just introduced some of my cleaning crew... It's a new tank. I think it might be phosphates (is this well written?). Ammonia=0 Nitrit=0 Nitrate=5 PH= 8,4. Also, the skimmer only started working properly 3 days ago. Rgrds[/b]
  6. Can anybody identify this damsel?

Well, I think I'll try. So far so good. It has been in my tank for 2 days now and it doesn't bother the others. Thanks. :D
  7. Can anybody identify this damsel?

Does anyone have any idea about its behavior and agressiveness or incompability with others?
  8. Can anybody identify this damsel?

  9. Multiflotor SL Skimmer doubts

Thing is that I'm not very sure... Here's my guess: As I had only LR in my tank the skimmer stood almost "dead" for 2 weeks or so. Then I came to realize that it was not normal that it didn't produce more waste after so much time. It needed regulation and time to start producing waste. Every...
  10. Multiflotor SL Skimmer doubts

I've solved the problem, thanks! It's working fine now. Best regards. :D
  11. Multiflotor SL Skimmer doubts

I have a Multiflotor SL Aquamedic Skimmer and I'm having a bit of trouble setting it in the right performance. I only have, for now, 40kgs of LR, 1 salarias fasciatus, 2 clowns, 1 anemone, 3 shrimps. My skimmer is not producing so much wast has I was expecting. I produces a lot of foam, but...
  12. What is this?

No worries :D . After seeing your reply I found a small crab that hitchhiked along. The rock is sitting in my tank for 3 months now. He decided he could come out yesterday. When he becomes less shy I'll post a pic in the respective forum. Thanks!
  13. Bioload

Really? Mine is very shy. Keeps to himself in its cave, along with the other two shrimps. Doesn't bother the clowns.
  14. New to marine aquarium

My tank is only 3 months old, and I have a 100 gallon with 15%LR. From what I read and discussed, LR ends up being cheaper, if you count the headaches and dead fish.
  15. Bioload

Well... damn it. I really wanted those two tangs. I was affraid you would say that. Guess my best bet will be the Zebrasoma... Easyer to keep, isn't it?
