  1. cool starfish pic...

    Awesome pics.
  2. Updated Tank Pic

Thank you. Yeah the xenia basically is kept in check by the other corals defences, the GSP on the other hand I prevent from getting out of that corner, it's much more aggressive. For circulation I have 5 maxijet 1200's on a wavemaster pro, and a hagen 401 power head, I have a 800gph closed loop...
  3. Updated Tank Pic

Yeah definately a losing battle. That's why I let the xenia grow wherever more or less, because they always seem to get the short end of the chemical warfare stick.
  4. Updated Tank Pic

I'm running 250w DE 14k Phoenix bulbs on a PFO ballast.
  5. Updated Tank Pic

  11. Hitchhiker Identification

Thanks for the replies, I removed this bad ass last night. I got lucky, it ventured out on a rock near the periphery of my aquascape so I was able to just pull the entire rock out and then shake him off in my sump. I also spotted 2 other crabs last night. A gorilla crab on my red monti and some...
  12. Hitchhiker Identification

The tips of it's claws which you cannot see are a dark brown color. It's been in my tank since the start (over 2 years) but it's the first time I've had a decent opportunity to get a picture. I believe it's in the Xanthidae family.
  13. can 2 corals of the same species grow together?

I keep 2 different frogspawns and a hammer coral all mixed together without any problems.
  14. How far are everyones lights from the water?

I'm using 250w DE pendants which are hung 6-7 inches above the water.
  15. Alveopora Pictures

FragMaster, thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure not to leave the camera in the tank room. I've had the camera going on 2 years now without a problem. It's a great camera, especially if your new to photography.
