That is Beautiful. Have you had most of the corals the whole time?

Thank you, the oldest coral is about 28 months old and newest additions are about 2-3 months old. I slowly added corals as the tank matured.

Yeah definately a losing battle. That's why I let the xenia grow wherever more or less, because they always seem to get the short end of the chemical warfare stick.

Couple of questions, that xenia is everywhere! And the GSP is almost everywhere! It looks very nice, though. But it seems "under control". What do you do keep under control? I wanted to do that just to my overflow box but was afraid of a take over. And what's the circulation in your tank like?

SHOW OFF.. Just kidding. It is a pleasure to see such a beautiful tank. How much live rock do you have? Just asking since it is not visible.. I swear the top of your tank looks like a mirror is there. What is the reflection coming from. I have heard of water being like glass. but........

Thank you. Yeah the xenia basically is kept in check by the other corals defences, the GSP on the other hand I prevent from getting out of that corner, it's much more aggressive. For circulation I have 5 maxijet 1200's on a wavemaster pro, and a hagen 401 power head, I have a 800gph closed loop as well, plus the return from the sump which is about 500gph or so.

Hehe, thanks. I have about 220lbs of live rock. The reason the top of the tank looks like a mirror is because when I took those photos I turned all the power heads, closed loop, etc off to take better photos. The surface was completely still making it a great relflective surface. I love the way the optic phenomenon looks in photos.

That hammer is about 12-15 months old, it was a frag from another colony in my tank, it started with 3 heads. Believe it or not, the main colony which I had to frag out because of size was at least 2x to 3x as big, I'll see if I can dig up a photo of it.
