  1. clown goby and elegant coral?

I need a tripod as well and a better camera, the digital I have is only 1.4 mega pixels. :x
  2. clown goby and elegant coral?

My Bicolor Blenny spends allot of time on top of or next to my elegance. My guess is that elegance does not have as much of a sting as an anemone. Have you seen your gobie feeding the coral? I haven't seen any behavior like this from my Blenny, I'm just curious. Great photo! AlienDomain
  3. Oh my god - guess what the LFS told me!

8O And these kittens over here are food for this iguana.
  4. Tools for cutting acrylic?

Acrylics, Thanks for the great info. I always wanted to get into acrylic work and with my wedding on the way I figured why not register for tools  . Cheers
  5. Tools for cutting acrylic?

What power tools are best for cutting acrylic tubes and sheets? Size/model info is helpful as well. Thanks!
  6. Atlanta's best LF???

IMO Marine Fish and Cappuccino Bay both in Marietta, have a great healthy selection of corals, clams and fish (well priced). I also agree Dragoon about The Fish Store And More although they do have a great display tank.
  7. Best way to get things under control

Removing as much of the mechanical filtration as you can will help reduce nitrate as well.
  8. Need stainless steel fan guard

Here's a link for both 80mm and 120mm Fan Guards. They are for computer cases (some game oriented designs geared toward the geek) but they should do the job. I like the alien one myself  http://www.chill-tek.com/products/grills-filters.html Hope this helps, Tony
  9. fish id plz

Oxymonacanthus longirostris or Long-nosed Filefish. A while back I had one, cool fish, but it did eat at my corals so it went back to the store. Here's a link with more info. http://www.uog.edu/marinelab/fish/species_html/oxymonacanthus.longirostris.html
  10. Thermostat for cooling fan.

The only thing I could think of with a submersible temperature probe would be something like a Medusa Heater/Chiller Controller but that's allot to spend on a fan controller. Is this for a fan that cools the sump or a canopy?
  11. chillers and pumps?

The housing has plastic rivets that would need to be removed to see where the temp probe is, I didn't want to chance damaging the thing and not be able to return it. I didn't contact Azoo because the setup instructions are simple, set the high temp for cooling and the low temp for heating, but...
  12. chillers and pumps?

Greg, Sorry to hear that you are having the same problem I did. I had bought one of those Azoo Thermoelectric Chillers and I have to say that IMO they are trash. I read the instructions that came with the chiller/heater which made it sound that it's designed to read the ambient (room) temp...
  13. My (sort of) new website

Tom, Well done, I'm guessing your a web geek as well. :D
  14. Live rock critter

It could be nudibranch, if you post a picture there is a better chance of an ID or do a search in the Coral, Rock and Sand Hitchhikers Forum.
  15. Lighting a new tank

I would suggest 3 175wt or 250wt metal halides (MH), the rule is one MH per two feet of tank. This will give you the best lighting for your 150 and MHs will last for around a year. Tritons and other standard wattage florescence won't give you the penetration that you need not to mention that...
