I think 400ppm is just fine. I run between 325ppm and 375ppm 4-4.2meq/L and things grow very well. I strugled for more than a year to keep Ca at 425-475ppm and finaly gave up. Honestly I think things have grown even beter since I stoped trying so hard to acheive such high numbers. :) :) Just...
