I am looking for a good suggestion for a skimmer for a 2g cube. I have looked around and most of what I am finding is a bit on the big side. Any suggestions would be great.

I am in the same boat. But I am looking for something to fit a 2g tank. Not very easy to find something that isnt the same size as the tank.

Thanks, Because I am waiting for My 400w bulb and I have a 175 Blueline that I was going to put in there until my 400 comes. I am glad I asked the question before I did it. PS.- Not to contridict, but are you sure it wont work? :(

Will this work. Can I run a 175 bulb in a 400 ballast?? Any help would be great.

I havent really thought about the 70/30 but now that you mention it, I think that will be the plan to go with. I still dont think that I will keep any fish in there. I will defently have a small number of inverts and hopefully a lot of coral. PS- (Brandon)- In your previous post you said...

Just a quick question. Do any of you know if you can use a NO ballast from a 10g hood and run a 13w pc with it? Any help would be great.

Would a ballast from a standard 10g hood work on one of the 13w bulbs. If so I have about 5 of them I could use. :)
