    They extend polyps which are short... no sweepers usually unless something is very close to them. They don't attack their own genus it appears.

    ReefMon - I lost the cover but apparently the chiller runs better without it... UMI is a good chiller plus they are close-by if I need support. C. Alan - That check valve is from Marine Depot. $20 something in the 1.5" size. Yeah, I am considering teeing off from the main line for the chiller...

    Mouse - that is my 1/3 hp UMI chiller... the black boxes are 1" seaswirls (rotate the outlet for oscillating flow) toptank - my holes are all 3", so yours should work fine. Regards Kris
