I think everyone will agree that:
Buying/trading frags that have come from frags that have come from frags is great. Benefits include not taking from the reefs for each frag traded and receiving hardy, proven specimens.
AND
Buying frags that have come from chopped colonies is bad. This just...
ReefMon - I lost the cover but apparently the chiller runs better without it... UMI is a good chiller plus they are close-by if I need support.
C. Alan - That check valve is from Marine Depot. $20 something in the 1.5" size. Yeah, I am considering teeing off from the main line for the chiller...
Mouse - that is my 1/3 hp UMI chiller... the black boxes are 1" seaswirls (rotate the outlet for oscillating flow)
toptank - my holes are all 3", so yours should work fine.
