My Xenia is starting to spread on the rock (how cool) Just wanted to share.

Good catch davidmohr, hope I have the common black, but mine looks like the one pictured. With the shell showing. Thinking of moving him into the refugium.

My purple does not bother anyone. Did give my hippo a bit of a hard time at first, but now they are fine.

Are you going to be looking at a Protein Skimmer?

I'm pretty sure its a Elephant snail, Scutus, Black Limpet (see Inverterbrates by Sprung page 113) Sprung says they will feed on coral tissue and are not reef safe.

starr, the rock comes just about to the glass, just lets me get the floating magnet (cant remenber the brand name, but I think I got it from Marine depot.com) by it. I have to clean it every two - 3 days. Thanks on the rock work, I have a little problem with one side right now, rocks keep on...

Thanks Wazzel, yes you can view from both sides. Kitchen and Family Room. The wall used to be a half wall between the two rooms.
