Yeah it was high salinity not low and has been problematic since January.The tips havent recovered and ive lost around 7 colonies but since ive lowered the salinity to around 1.025 ive noticed polyps are extending once again and all seem happier .I will monitor and post progress .Again cant...
It all seems to make sense, when i would do a water change i was just doing more damage w/o even knowing it.Ive notice polyps starting to open up again on most of the survivors and can breath again

I had an old glass floating hydrometer and it reads 27, my plastic ones were reading btween 23 and 24 maybe your on to something.I am taking out 2.5 gallons of water at a time let it refill with top off to get it to 25.5 see if this reverses the burn.I did replace the carbon before all this...
