  1. Algae relief and lights?

Sounds like diatoms. Do you use RO/DI water? I had a lot of trouble with algae and diatoms and when my tank hit the one year mark it cleared up and has been good ever since. I feel it really takes about a year before a SW tank really settles in and matures. Good luck Steve
  2. gold and powerleveling

Gold farmers in MMORPG's suck and ruin the game for everyone. Mods please ban this ip< not reef related and generally stupid for selling online assets in mmorpg"s for real world profits. They gain this assets by killing new players/farming quest zones/ creating bot's with uber stats to...
  3. Tank trim, is it needed?

Well I got my answer from AGA, here it is. If it doesn't have a center brace, it seems it is not nessecary. see bold print. Now I can procede with my plan.

  7. Tank trim, is it needed?

Is this the only problem you would have with removing the trim? My 29gal doesn't have a center brace. OTOH what if I siliconed a piece of glass in as a center brace after removing the trim. I see a lot of European tanks without plastic trim and most don't even have any kind of brace. Is...
  8. Tank trim, is it needed?

Can I take the top trim off my 29gal tank? It is a AGA black trim tank, I have heard that the trim is cosmetic and only holds glass covers in place. I have also heard the opposite, that it is support for the tank. Is there a definate answer on this? Thanks
  9. Coral banded bully

My CBS actually lunged at and caught a newly added green chromis in my old 20H (no more green chromis, actually caught and killed 2 altogether, I witnessed one). I still have that shrimp, but don't trust him one bit. It steals food from my corals when I spot feed and well darn it I like my...

So it is pretty much going to have to reproduce on its own eh, that's cool though, I wasn't planning on hacking it up yet anyway. With the Rhodactus did you get any piece of the mouth or base? (mine doesn't really have a base as such) Mine is the size of a dinner plate :D it's time to frag!!!!

I have two corals that I want to maybe frag. I have fragged other kinds of coral in the past like capnella, shrooms and sarcophyton. I want to frag a Rhodactus (very large, maybe 6"-7" across when fully expanded) and a donut coral (Scolymia Coral). (I am not considering fragging it now I just...
