The owner of the fish pictured below is looking for a definite ID...the best attempts so far have been a scribbled rabbitfish but I question if thats correct. Anybody here care to attempt to ID this dude? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

The brown growth sounds like a very common diatom bloom....will eventually go away. Try a search for "diatom" and I bet you'll find a ton on info out there....very common in newly cycled systems. I'd see about reducing your lighting from 24/7 to something closer to a normal day/night...

Yup...that coral beauty has been in there for close to 18 months...with a large assortment of corals and hes never bothered a single one....lucky me huh. The tang was recently added and the entire system....corals and fish will soon be relocated to a 150 reef that is in the works....so no...

Very nice looking 55...here is mine. Started it on the first day of 2000...its starting to fill out nice I think. 8)
