  1. sump question

just a standard stand. This suck when picking out a protein skimmer. I have a coral life 125 super skimmer and the top is touching the bottom of my 60 gal.
  2. sump question

I'm getting either a 180 gal w/ built in overflows, or 210 w/ built in overflows. I want to set up a large sump and was thinking about buying the AGA Megaflow Sump Filter Model 4. Does ayone have experience with this filter? Or does anyone have any better ideas. I also have a eheim Pro III w/...
  3. New Tank Stocking

I'm about to upgrade from a 60 gal to a 180 or 210. Here is what I want to stock. Is this too much, or does anyone have any suggestions? Yellowbar Angel, atlantic blue tang, silver foxface, Harlequin Tuskfish, banner butterfly, and a small school of chromis.
  4. Picasso Trigger Vs. Harlequin Tusk Wrasse

I ne wthis about the trigger before I purchased him. I didn't think it would be this aggressive while this small.
  5. Picasso Trigger Vs. Harlequin Tusk Wrasse

The trigger is small 2inches or so, and the wrasse is 3 1/2 or so. I just put a trap in the tank, the fish are getting used to it before I catch the guy. It's a shame, I really like the trigger.

Those fish will get too big for a 55gal.
  8. Lionfish

They are usually are reef safe, but if you have any featherdusters they will destroy them. Any worms will be gone for sure. They won't mess with you inverts.
  9. Lionfish

I've kept a Volitan, a picasso, and a coralbanded shrimp together for about a year. They seem to get along fine. The Trigger is only aggressive towards my new Harlequin Tusk.
  10. Picasso Trigger Vs. Harlequin Tusk Wrasse

I just recieved a beautiful Harlequin Tusk Wrasse delivered today. After acclimating the fish and putting it in the tank it hid for a few hours. As soon as it started to come out the Picasso Trigger won't leave it alone. Does anyone know if they will chill out, or should I get rid of the...
  11. Yellowhead Moray

I fed my other eels twice a week, would this be acceptable for the Yellowhead as well?
  12. Snowflake Eating Habits

I've had a snowflake and it lived with a cleaner shrimp and got along fine, then I had a large Zebra Moray who used to get punked by a coralbanded shrimp.
  13. Yellowhead Moray

I have a 110gal, I plan on going bigger in a year or so. I currently have a 3inch Picasso Trigger, 3 inch Maroon Clown, 5inch Voliton Lion, 3 -4 inch Koran Angel, and the meanest purple dottyback (I wish something would take it out). I have a wetdry with a protein skimmer, and a fully covered...
  14. Aquarium weight

What is the largest tank I could put safley on my middle floor? Obviously going over the joists on a load bearing wall.
  15. Yellowhead Moray

Does anyone have any experience with a Yellowhead Moray? I'm thinking of buying a small 6-8 inch. I have experience with Snowflake and Zebra.
