I have a ECO also,,, I only put RO/DI water in my tank,,, If you pay for your water install the unit near a Washing Machine and let the waste water emptie into the washer to conserve water.... HTH

Whenever in doubt go with Silversides,,, Cut one in half and make sure it touches the LTA so it will sense that it's fish,,, Works all the time... HTH
