I'm shure they have a bit more experience.Smaller tanks are not as stable they take more work and attention.Go on vacation for a week and leave that nano with a newb and see what happens. The true problem for him keeping an anenome is not only the light but also a lack of experience in the hobby.IMHO
I would put the anenome on hold till your tank is at least a year old .And even then it will be hard to keep alive with the swings of your ph and water quality.
The mouse pad sounds to be a good Idea ,seeing how I have a buttload of them laying around.
I figure since I will be in trouble anyhow anyone know of a good place to get some ppe's and other cool corals.Been looking all around but can't seem to find them..
Do you think this skimmer is a good deal at 350?
It's a MY REEF CREATIONS MR-2R and all of it is new, owner bought it before the tank and it won't fit in his stand.
Lol.Oh well "from the mouth of babes...." keep that sucker alive more than a few years then you can toot your horn.Till then try the road that is humble. And at least know what your buying, lol.
I had my chiller break down this summer and almost all my stuff bleached, but most came back.My orange cap turned pure white ,it took about 3 months and it's back fully.
My other cap only came back in spots ,I'm going to frag it out soon .Maybe you might want a piece.
Here's a pic before.
