I wouldn't use any rubber gardenhose or washing machine black hoses. Take a drink from one and you will probably be able to taste a chalky rubber taste. I doubt your tank inhabitants would like rubber funk in the water.

You have to be logged in for the pictures to show up, maybe the pc connected with last time wasn't logged in on the broswer with your password. The pic shows up for me as long as I'm logged in :wink:

The snail is doing great I see him out regularly and he doesn't seem to be doing any harm to anything in my 20high nano. Neat little critter.
