not sure about finding them in your Bay area but in my Tampa Bay area i have them every month, and as far as telling them apart it does very much matter, as any two of the same sex will fight to the death. The male has a some squared off jaw line, where the females is more rounded..hth

jeez over 150 bucks for an auto topoff system? wow i built mine for less than 30... oh well good luck
