I know xenia, zoo's and kenya trees dont need feeding, however some research has shown feeding them once a week can help with their growth. Is this true, and if so what can I feed them, phytoplankton. I bought frozen reef plankton, but they look too big for my corals. Any suggestions? Thanks...

I have my 12g nano cube running for just under two weeks now Ammonia is .25 and dropping. However my live rock just started making bubbles that stay then dettach. Is this algae forming on rock and expending oxygen in the water? let me know. Also underneath live rock 2 hair thin tentacles around...

What is a good time period to leave the lights on for corals? 12 hours sound good?

My new tank will be cycled by then. Where is the swap and can I just buy since I wont have anything to swap since it will be a new tank. Im new im sorry for this stupid question

Once tank is cycled you think a blenny or two, a royal gramma, and a clownfish is too much with a few corals for my nano 12? Again this is way down the road. Im adding my live sand and live rock tomorrow to begin cycling process.. YEAH!!

Thanks guys! I will start with Animal Kingom Water and after a few months of acclimating to the reef's requirements I will start making ro/di water myself. ALso is the 2x24w 50x50 light that comes with the nano cube 12 good for now to start or should I upgrade ASAP Thanks G

Thanks Craig. Do You know what protein skimmer would be good for my JBJ Nano Cube 12 gallons. There are alot out there, however My cover fits exactly on top of the tank with no open back. Let me know what you think G
