I have my 12g nano cube running for just under two weeks now Ammonia is .25 and dropping. However my live rock just started making bubbles that stay then dettach. Is this algae forming on rock and expending oxygen in the water? let me know. Also underneath live rock 2 hair thin tentacles around 3" long pop out undulate and then retreat back underneath live rock. This thing wont show itself, even in the dark. So far only two brown tentacles. (THey look like tubixex worms (I know freshwater only)but only longer. Any ideas??
I lifted the live rock but still no luck

tubes might be tiny feather dusters, and the algae is called bubble algae, if u pop it, it will continue to spread but not sure, i know emerald crabs eat this algae

its not bubble algae...... its cyanobacteria. reasearch that on google. one of the signs of it is bubbles that it produces i think from co2 or something like that  ur tank is cycling......

Here is a picture of one of mine. It is a worm that is inside the rock and dose not move. It uses the tentacles to pull in food off the rocks or rock/sand around it. they are good for the tank and will spread. I got a 6lb rock and there are around 15 of them all different sizes.
