Hey all,
I have a new critter in the tank that my mother found tonight. We've never seen it before, is it a Stromella snail?
Try to ignore the flatworms  :x.
And yes that reflection in the first picture is my new cannon digital rebel :D .
Thanks,
Kev
50 gallons is to small for a yellow tang. Some may say that a juvenile would be okay, but ultimately it will overgrow the tank and need more swimming room to be happy.

I have no experience with the bakpak skimmer, but I've heard its a good skimmer.
Personally, I own a Remora Pro, and if you decide to go the AquaC route won't be disapointed with its performance.

IMO I would say no. Some may say that a juvenile would be okay as long as your 55 is 4' in length. But, tangs grow so fast that ultimately it will need more swimming room to be happy.

oh man chip...I'm so sorry. :(
I may be going up to Crevers tommorrow, if there is anything you want me to hold in my tank until you get yours going again your more than free to.
When the green/orange polyps that you sold me start spreading your free to take a frag.
Your favorite...
Has anybody had problems with yellow and sailfin tangs eating the stolons of GSP's.
I have a feeling they are looking for little bits of algae but in the process the tangs are doing quite a bit of damage to the GSP's. The polyps aren't extending out of the shoots they retract into.
Any input...
I just doubled the output on my 50 gallon (180 watts) by adding two URI super actinics. I was wondering how slow the light acclimation process should be when all I have in the tank are three 5" green stripped shrooms, zoos and a couple fish.
I'm thinking light stress would affect certain...
Anyone know what this guy is. I'm wondering about the dark one, i know the white one is a featherduster.
I take it is a worm of some sort.
Thanks,
Kevin
