  1. Euroreef problem

The riser should be equiped with a rubber O ring around the outside of both ends, this is what prevents it from slipping. Bill
  2. 440 watts of VHO and want a clam...which one?

 What can I say  Harpo
  3. 440 watts of VHO and want a clam...which one?

Putting a clam in that lighting will only lead to its death. Clams should only be kept under MH lighting. Clams live on extreme high lighting, and a VHO could not meet this need. Harpo
  4. sucks to be my LFS!

If I had a freekin fish valued that high, you beeter believe I would find a way to get a social security card and life insurance for it  Harpo.
  5. leather coral question

Are these new additions, or have they been in for a while? If you have had them for some time, have they been disturbed lately? Harpo.
  6. sea-lab #28

8O You should always be aware of so called MAGIC POTIONS that do it all. These addatives normally give you great algae blooms(good and bad) but not much else. I would stay away from it. Harpo
  7. I am in Palm Springs now

Hi. Hey, we're in Brawley, 90 miles south of you. Thought I would give you a couple heads up on a few shops. The closest one to you would be in San Bernardino, called PET WORLD. The shop has an OK variety but we found them to look ill half the time and Jules the owner to be a little less than...
  8. Custom reactor?

Does anyone have a link where I can find a picture of CORAL HOUNDS reactors? Thanks. Harpo
  9. Harlequin Tusk - reef safe or not?

The tusk is reef safe, BUT it will eat your snails, shrimp, crabs, and any other inverts you may have. Harpo
  10. power compact lights?

I know the idea of an anemone is what got alot of people in this hobby, but the reality of owning one is bleek. Anemones other than BTA's do not survive in captivaty and to purchase this eye candy is just depleteing its natural habitat. Anemones live for a couple hundered years in the ocean, but...

  12. Still yellowish brown crap?

:D :D Well finally this garbage has run its course. It seems to have stopped and all the corals are returning to normal :D :D Harpo
  13. diamond goby

At one time, we had a pair of dimonds in our 125gal. reef. That was short lived, they were eating bed inhabitants, but what was worse, they tunneled under rocks, tumbling them and covering the nearest corals with sand. We would constantly find our plate coral, and brain corals covered. We lured...
  14. Still yellowish brown crap?

The tank is over 2 years old at this time. Unfortunately we went through CYANO a few months back, and won that battle. However this is a butt kicker, we did treat it as you said but had no effect at all. :( I come home each day and just want to scream when I look at the tank. Should we keep up...
  15. Still yellowish brown crap?

Hi, all. We are still fighting this crap  , whether it be DINO. or CYANO. We are at the point of thinking about taking the whole tank apart and replacing the sand bed, and cleaning all the rock. :( Since this stuff has been growing, our xenias, and a few leathers have been acting odd...
