  1. How hard are anemones to keep?

    Hi, I have two anemones and they are very easy to keep. I also have four Manderins. Three manderins and one spotted manderin and they are all very healthy. I don't know where the idea came from that they are slow. Mine can move like lightening when they want to or need to. Janet

    Hi, I have had a male spotted madaJanetrin for about a year. He is fat and healthy. He is in a 70G tank and I also have one reg. mandarin with him. They get along great. He eats frozen brine,frozen mysis and the occassional live food I give him.

    When I hatch brine I keep the water temp. about 80 and they hatch in about 18 hrs. Turn off the bubbler and point a light to the bottom of the container and if they have hatched, there will be a little pink blob at the source of light, that is your baby brine. Janet

    Well, I'm convinced. I am going to leave the two E. crabs where they are for the moment and just observe. I really like the little guys but one of my female manderins has a hole in one of her fins and I thought she could have had a run in with the crab. Thanks for the comments! Janet

    I have three mandarins,one male, two female and one male spotted mandarin. They are in a 70 gal.tank and I have had three of them for about a year and they are doing very well. They will eat frozen brine and daphnia. They also love treats of live food,(adult brine and baby guppies). Janet
