Hi Matt, Phil (Reef Reaper) is a really nice guy. It would be great if his brother can build something. I checked into the AGA wet dry filter's and there are a few that are only 9 3/4" wide. Its just that they are expensive. http://www.pets-warehouse.com/Vpasp/shopexd.asp?id=156138
