  1. Help with Tank

well, if posting some info is what you consider stentorian, that's fine. I'll take that. If you would rather be spoken to in sound bites, I can do that too. But I usually like to back up info. Your pic on post one is not an indication of a "refugium working very well indeed". I'm not sure...
  2. High Nitrates

Hey, Rich. Absolutely. That is why I said at the bottom that it is a nice tank. You remember my PO4 issues with the Salifert. I love hanna. no
  3. Help with Tank

The way you said this with the quotes around it tells me that this is what you are reading off of the bottle. Just so you know, there is no regulating what can be written on the side of the bottle on anything in this hobby. How do you think Marc Wiess products gets away with what they claim on...
  4. High Nitrates

Matt, I looked in his gallery. He's got a pic in there from July. It looks like every other tank I've seen from fuge advocates. You can see tons of algae where his mag float doesn't reach. Cleaning your front glass and taking pictures doesn't constitute controlling algae. I wasn't going to...
  5. Have I ever cheated anyone on a purchase before??

:approve: Mrs. Macallan must be proud of the wonderful product her son has put forward. He did his homework. How does the saying go, Jim? 95% of your problems come from 5% of your customers? Either way, we've had disputes in the past. Usually the members settle their differences, look past...
  6. Have I ever cheated anyone on a purchase before??

Easy, Kedd. You're another rip off. How dare you, a core member who helped restock tons of tanks on this board (including mine), not yield to a 1 year guy and not give away all of your stuff for free. I'm really just messing around now. I have been exceptionally fortunate with the members I...
  7. Have I ever cheated anyone on a purchase before??

The only reason you posted this thread is so you can have a chorus of members kiss your ass to help you feel better about ripping someone off.:joke: Kasei sucks. In the process of saving my multi thousand dollar reef while I was away, he polished off a bottle of scotch. Come on Kasei...
  8. Insane Volcano Skimmer on UTube

Contact him. I'm sure he would be glad to build you one. Or you can just check out these:http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=reefflo I'd consider this a reasonable price to pay for the addicted.

Float switch shuts the skimmer down. Prevents to much water loss if the skimmer acts up. If Steve Weast had this option, his tank wouldn't have crashed. Waste containers work great, but sometimes they do leak. Carbon prevents the skimmate smell and also safety if o-zone is used
  10. High Nitrates

Danny, this has been the issue with fuges on this site and we are having a difficult time getting that point across for some reason. I stopped calling what is called "fuges" on this site and now call them dirty sumps with lights on them. One guideline of fuges is that at a minimum, they be...
  11. Insane Volcano Skimmer on UTube

That's Spazz from RC. He sells those for around 3 large. He helped me along while I built my dart mesh wheel. Nice guy.
  12. High Nitrates

:biglaugh: Wes, I was going to say the same thing after reading this thread. Couldn't have said this part right here better myself:
  13. Books

  15. Micro bubbles in main tank, what's the cause

It is generally unliked by the membership here when someone with little experience is posting new threads all over the place. It's better to post questions and learn more before trying to post advice/DIY projects and talk about things you do for customers. I do not have a problem with you...
