    I forgot to mention, it is a RO/DI unit. Thanks for the input, I will wait for it to arrive and only use RO water..

    I've been told very mixed things about this topic.. Is it okay to start a tank with tap water, and then to begin doing water changes with RO water? Or just stick with RO water from the very beginning, its only 30 gallons and I have an RO unit on the way that does 100 gpd. p.s I'm going to setup...
