i have an old acrylic tank that i was thinking of setting up, but when i dug it out i noticed it is starting to turn yellow. is this common? and is there anything i can do about it? the tank is a 120g that i have had for about 6 years now, but i biught it used so i dont know how old it actually is.

ill think abiut it where are you located? ive been doing research on types of glass, and found a substance called PETG glass it is supposed to be stronger,clearer more scratch resistant and easier to form, than cast acrylic its chaeper too has anyone ever heard of it before?

i dont know what you mean, this would be a custom tank i am building out of acrylic with predriled holes for my overflow.

i was thinking of using pvc pipe to combine my overflow tube and my skimmer this would be a counter current type skimmer with a wood airstone at the bottom. and a collection cup at the top. my idea behind this is to save sump space what do you think? i tried to post a pic but do not know how.
