is this tank reef ready?

With lights on or off dosent matter. No fishes nipping at it.I am almost ready to remove it.

One sec it looks okay although not fully extended, next sec all the tentacles get reallllly thin and turn purple in color. The plate itself loos like it gets swollen, also in the tentacles there seem to be some rings. Any ideas? All water parameters are good. Only change ge is that my uv...

Anyone using an RKE?

No pics yet but the scape is basically along the back of the tank to mid way up.

I am putting them in the tank first thing in the morning. Also suggestions on a good reef controller. Anything else out there besides the apex controller that's worth looking at?

I picked up 2 1050 kroalias is that enough flow for my tank? Also what's the best placement? Suggestions? No controller yet so they will be constant for now.

UPdate: saw him this morning swam around for about 10 mins. Then in a cloud of sand he disappeared again.
