one thing to make sure is that you have a hole right below the water line on your drain line to the sump, this will suck in air and stop the water flow to your sump, therefore the water level should not be too much. when you have this done do a power test as in stated in the above post. you...

I MOVED THE TANK!!!! :D :D it was a succesful move, it took all about 1hour to move, the way i moved the tank was to take all the corals out, take out most rock that would fall, then drain the tank to about 6" left in the bottom of water, i was then able to lift the one side of the tank up to...

what do you mean by being prepared to pump the water back into the tank ?? why would you have to do that?

i have to move my 75 gal reef tank and was wondering if anyone has moved a tank before? some people i've talked to have sudjusted to remove all the corals, remove fish, drain the tank, and leave all the sand and live rock in it, my lfs has done it that way with a 90 gal and said it can be done...

well i got my new CORALVIEW 10000k mh lights today. i guess i was expecting a little different, they were blue from the hamilton bulbs i had, i was wondering if any one else had the same results, and if they had very good coral growth from them?

well i ordered 2 of the 10000k coralvue bulbs today, hope to see a good responce from them, they will be with 2-96 watt actinics.
