  3. Fish Disappearing

Yeah my Diamond Goby loves to jump in the overflow as well.He loves giving me extra work right when I'm about to sit down and relax. As for the little fish(wrasse),If he did die in the tank, bristle worms will get rid of the body quickly.Sorry for your loss..it does suck when you lose a fish. :(
  4. To chiller..or not to chiller??

Yeah last night I filled up a 3, 1 Gallon jugs with ro/di water, froze it and put in in my sump to keep my temp from not going any higher then what it was which was 86*."I was up all night baby sitting my tank"I ran out bright and early this morning and bought a new a/c.Its really doing the...

  10. New to the site and need some advise :)

Yeah a few people outside M.R told me to do this..I'm just worried that it will mess up my water chemistry and possibly result in a mini cycle.I would be adding beneficial bacteria "yes" but I would also be adding nitrate as well..and with a newly established tank I'm worried.I wouldn't be so...
  11. New to the site and need some advise :)

thanks for the warm welcome...I do have 140lbs of live rock in the 180.I plan on having the 160 lbs of live rock from my 90 in the 180 as well.I cured the new live rock for 2 months in a plastic bin..once the ammonia read 0,I then added it to the 180.So the 180 tank has been cycling for a...
