I originally got my Koi at LFS's. During the summer most folks who already have them are looking to sell from their spawns. Buying from an established pond is usually the best idea due to KHV ...a fatal Koi virus. There are a large number of Koi vendors on LI. Is your summer place on the Island or upstate? And yes, they need to be fed daily!!
