I put it in a net and rinse it.. 3 good reasons for doing it.. 1- cleans out some of the oils and nitrates you don't want. 2- thaws it 3- trains your fish that the net is a fun place to swim in to! :lol:

Apparently the max growth rate for sps corals in the wild is an inch per month.. I've heard this from a few good sources. I have a couple corals in my tank that grow around that rate.. most are more like 1/4-1/2 per month, but my a. milipora's are about an inch per month.
Yeah it's nice having J&L nearby for sure. I go over about every 3 months or so. I've purchased most of my dry goods there.
