I have a 9 watt coralife UV

I'm having a problem with my 9 watt uv sterilizer and just wanted to find out if anyone has any suggestions. It has been in operation for only 6 months and the bulb has burned out twice already. the first lasted about 4 months.. the second bulb lasted only 2 months. ewh! I've begun to wonder...
