I won't even sell pb's they are too aggressive and delicate at the same time. Mostly they get so HUGE you need a small swimming pool for them eventually, to have enough space to swim constantly.

I've tried it on several tanks
with no adverse affects
that I can see
I've never been an advocate of chemicals
in my reefs
but if flatworms get out of control then they can be a problem
natural predators as mentioned are great but once the food is gone they tend to die
I know 4 people that have had problems with southdown
mainly from iron filings they have found in it has caused some serious algae blooms
I would sift it with a fine mesh screen
to remove unwanted particles
washing it will not do too good
but if ya want to wash that much
fill a clean/new...
