  1. Updated Pix of 5G nano

The tank has been up for about 6 mo now. Yes, there is a lot of HA. I've been doing everything to get rid of it, but as we all know it's a long slow battle. The good thing is that I'm beggining to notice a leveling off of HA's growth. All my Chem are in check and as you can see below I think...

  4. My 5G Nano

6 mo now. Yes the skilter is very noisy, but it's only on during the day when no one's home. It was recommended by my LFS. There didn't seem to be many options for a 5G tank. I have to say though, it has been working like a charm.

  12. Green-hair algae growth

Green-Hair algae is beggining to grow on my live rock. I'm only assuming that I had a spike in nitrates and phosphates...probably due to overfeeding. I kept my skimmer on for longer periods of time and increased water changes to 2x/week, which seems to have retarded the growth. Any...

  15. My Greenstar Polyps

About a week ago my greenstar polyps stopped coming out. All that is left is the white/pink "carpet" that it grows on and the "stumps" they come out of. It's as if they went in for the night (as they usually do) but now they don't want to come out. Are they dead??? All other corals appear...
