Since everyone liked the pictures of Sanjay's tank, I figured I would post another slideshow. This time it is Ken Feldman's bowfront. Len, these are mostly for you, but I know there are others that will appeciate the pics. I just got 5 of these (1M, 4FM) on Saturday from Live Aquaria. The packing job was exceptional and they are all out and about and eating like pigs :D

I just got a D70 as well. The selling point for me is that now I can use all my Nikkor SLR lenses in it. My only problem now is what do I do with my Nikon 8008s film camera? I took some shots at MACNA of the Boston skyline at night. The results were amazing. I used a 5 sec shutter speed and...

I use 3 400W 6500s and 2 160W VHO actinics also. I feel the actinics do make the tank more pleasing to the eye as well. However, I use them more for the dawn/dusk effect. I doubt they provide any more useful light than that of the 3 400s. JMO.

If you can't find the ratchet clamps, go to your nearest Home Depot or home center and get plastic cable ties. They work great in a pinch (no pun intended).
