    These white spots are about 1 mm across in size, do not seem to move but are attaching to my live rock and snail shells as seen with this hermit for an easy pic. The spots can be peeled back with a knife blade. Thanks for your help.

    I am new to the Marine reef hobby. I will probably buy most of my live stock from Drs. Foster and Smith; they tout there advanced quarantine system. From your experiences with this company is it still advisable to quarantine new live stock? And do you also quarantine your new corals? Thanks, Matt
